On January 19, 2023, the Gorontalo Provincial Government received a visit from the Governor of Ehime and his representatives. On that occasion, a promotion of MSMEs (in collaboration with Bank Indonesia) was held, and Karawo was included as one of the products introduced. Karawo got a corner for promotion and managed to attract the attention of invited guests.

The karawo fabrics on display were the work of Karawo makers participating in our TDCOP group. They were very happy because many invited guests were interested in their work, which encouraged them to further develop their skills and creativity in Karawo.
